The research on the historic buildings and the possible threat to art historical features prompted the authors to produce documentation of the Baroque window panes in the original 18th century dormers , namely six panes with remnants of Baroque window constructions and with various degrees of recent alterations. Only a single window pane is preserved in the original Baroque state with later panes in the bottom wings. Most probably this window is from the reconstruction of the palace undertaken by Bartholomew Scotti, dendrochronologically dated to shortly after 1725. This is the first Baroque feature of its kind documented in detail within the Prague Heritage Reserve. This documentation will enable the rehabilitation of other dormer windows of The Grand Priory Palace as well as similar dormers of other Baroque buildings.
