AB  - A written report from the chamberlains of the provincial boards from 1578 brings new and very valuable information on the issue of the still unclear localization of the extinct medieval village of Psáry. To correctly interpret this report, the author follows the uneasy coexistence of the population of Podskalí and the sequence of events that immediately preceded this report. This is followed by editorially selected passages of the report, and with the help of other written, iconographic, and cartographic sources, it attempts to present a new working vision of the location of the former village and court of Psáry. The article concludes by examining three time horizons of the extinction of the village in the historical countryside around Vyšehrad based on available sources.
