AB This article briefly discusses the early history of the hospital at St. Bartholomew's church at Nove Mesto in Prague in view of the results of archaeological excavations realised in 2010. The excavation revealed remains of St. Bartholomew's hospital church founded at the beginning of the 16th century. The destruction layers contained architectural fragments, mainly vault ribs, which may derive from the demolition material of the church prior to new social buildings construction in 1884.
