AB  - Due to several recent archaeological excavations combined with building history surveys within the basement of the Baroque college of Clementinum in Prague an assemblage of Gothic architectonic fragments was documented. Preliminary evaluation of the finds and of Early Gothic rib and window moulding fragments illustrate early Gothic architecture of this part of Prague. According to the written evidence the finds of Early Gothic architectonic fragments and hypothetically also some of the wall remains can be linked to a Dominican monastery, which was situated here since the 1230s.
